Congratulations to the Mentoring Project Team for being presented the Outstanding Project Team Award by the AIHA! The AIHA quoted “This team has supported the next generation of IH professionals by developing and deploying an effective model for matching students and early career professionals with senior professionals for mentoring.”
We Were Busy!
The Mentoring Project Team along with many mentors and mentees were actively spreading the mMentoring Project Group Receives Award at AIHce 2014 Volunteer Recognition Ceremony entoring program. From the AIHce booth, lanyards, buttons, badge ribbons and the Networking Event, the mentoring group reached many attendees of the conference. The 4th Annual Mentoring Networking Event, sponsored by ABIH, was another success and has grown to over 250 people. The event focused on bringing mentors and mentees together. There were breakout areas for individuals to meet geographically and pairs were made at this event
AIHA provided a badge scanner for the Mentoring group to capture attendees at the Mentoring Booth and Networking Event. Over 300 people were scanned. Currently the Mentoring Group is working on organizing the names and pairing mentors and mentees together.
